It utilizes 256-bit encryption keys, CBC mode with randomized IV, providing maximum security. Multi-threading means it can do its work very quickly.
WinAES also has file hashing functions, supporting MD5, SHA-1, SHA-2(256bits), SHA-2(512bits)and Keccak(One of SHA-3 Finalists).
One more useful feature is the ability to securely erase files so they cannot be recovered later, and the application can also generate safe random passwords.
